My Dental Lab is the client portal of Elite Dental Lab, a dental laboratory. Dental practices that send cases to Elite Dental Lab use the My Dental Lab website (mydentallab.app) and iPhone app to see their cases, case status, due dates, and invoices. This policy explains what information the portal handles and how it is protected.
Who can use the portal
The portal is only for dental practices that work with Elite Dental Lab and for lab staff. There is no public sign-up: the lab creates each login for a specific practice. Practice users see only their own practice’s cases. Lab staff see all practices.
Information the portal shows
The portal displays case records that Elite Dental Lab already keeps in its lab management system. These records can include patient names, the restorations ordered (for example the product, material, and tooth numbers), case status, due and ship dates, prices, and invoice totals. This is protected health information. The portal shows it read only: practices cannot change case records through the website or app.
Information we collect from you
- Your work email address and password, to sign you in.
- The practice your login belongs to.
- Notification settings you choose, such as the email address the lab should use for case reminders and which reminders you want.
- Basic security and error logs (such as sign-in times) used to keep the service running and secure. These logs do not contain patient information.
The iPhone app does not use your camera, photos, contacts, or location, and does not collect advertising identifiers.
How information is used
Information is used only to run the portal: signing you in, showing your practice its cases and invoices, and, if you turn them on, sending case reminder emails. We do not sell information, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
Where information is stored and who processes it
Data is stored and processed in the United States by service providers that host the portal: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (website hosting), and Resend (email delivery). Elite Dental Lab has business associate agreements where required for patient information. Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited by practice, and patient information is only handled on our servers, never stored in shared logs.
Keeping and deleting information
Case and invoice records are kept as long as Elite Dental Lab needs them for its dental records and legal obligations. To close your portal login or ask for your account information to be deleted, contact us using the details below. We will confirm the request and remove your login; lab case records required by law are kept by the lab.
Children
The portal is for dental professionals and is not directed to children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
